Our Program

As children grow, their needs and abilities develop as well. At Columbia County Christian School, we intentionally design our programs to support students at every stage of growth. By recognizing each child’s development—academically, socially, spiritually, and physically—we are able to thoughtfully shape our programs to meet students where they are.

As students mature, we gradually increase expectations and challenges, helping them grow in confidence, responsibility, and character. Throughout every stage, we honor that each student is uniquely created by God and strive to nurture their individual gifts and needs.

Our program is thoughtfully structured into three levels: Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School (6th–8th grade).

CCCS remains committed to strong character development, academic excellence, and the emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of every student. We are excited about what God is doing at Columbia County Christian School and look forward to the future ahead.

  • At Columbia County Christian School, play is an essential part of learning in the earliest years. Our Early Childhood Program includes PreK, and is thoughtfully designed to nurture the whole child.

At this stage, we focus on social, spiritual, and academic development. Students build a strong foundation by learning colors and shapes, letters and numbers, counting, and phonics. As they are ready, students begin reading independently and developing confidence as learners.

Most importantly, our youngest students are introduced to the truth that God loves them. Through daily instruction and age-appropriate Bible teaching, students learn about God through His Word and begin applying biblical principles in their everyday lives. They practice good manners, develop kindness and respect for others, and learn healthy ways to express their thoughts and feelings.

Our goal is to create a safe, joyful environment where children feel loved, encouraged, and excited to learn as they grow in faith and understanding.

  • The Elementary Program at Columbia County Christian School is designed to support the continual growth and development of young learners. Using a traditional approach to education, our self-contained classrooms provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where students feel known and supported.

Our teachers intentionally guide students to explore their God-given potential while helping them understand God’s constant and unending love. When children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to love God and others, they are free to grow into confident and engaged learners.

With a strong emphasis on reading, writing, and mathematics, our elementary teachers build academic momentum and establish a solid foundation for lifelong learning. Through consistent instruction, faith integration, and individualized support, students are equipped to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

  • Many families approach the middle school years with hesitation—but at Columbia County Christian School, we say fear not! Our faculty embraces the energy, curiosity, and even the emotional ups and downs that are part of middle school development.

Our teachers are passionate about calling out the best in each student, continually reminding them of their God-given value and worth. When students feel seen, supported, and grounded in their identity in Christ, they are empowered to succeed academically, socially, and spiritually.

CCCS provides a safe and encouraging environment that supports a rigorous and well-rounded academic program. Each year, we witness remarkable growth as students mature in both knowledge and wisdom, preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey and for life beyond the classroom.
